I'm an illustrator living in Menlo Park, California.

Over the past fifteen years, I’ve shown oil paintings in coffee shops, designed sets for Pottery Barn ads, worked on three picture books, sold prints to the parents of adorable babies, had adorable babies, and illustrated stories for the wonderful Cricket Magazine Group. I’m also the illustrator for LitWorld’s
World Read Aloud Day.

Outside of work, you can find me with my aforementioned adorable babies, not playing the game right, not cooking the food right, and not knowing where the sparkle-purple-circle thing went or what the sparkle-purple-circle thing even is. Mysteries abound. Sometimes I can trick them into drawing with me though, and all is well in the world again (mostly).

Before I became an artist I worked for Oracle Corporation. I was a New Product Release Analyst. Every night I came home after work and painted in my dad’s garage. While I’m proud of my early mini career nothing could have motivated me more to become an artist than the long hours I spent pretending to be someone I was not.

All of this is to say, as long as it's not New Product Releasing, let's work together! I love illustrating anything for children, especially stories.
